It is no coincidence that Fleur is entirely and utterly obsessed with flowers. Not only is her name Fleur – flowers have surrounded her from day dot.

FM: I have been working with Harry the hirer for over 25 years of my career and we have a lot of respect for each other and I think that is how working relationships grow and survive. I don't have a favourite Harry the hirer piece of furniture - my favourite thing about Harry's is the people!

Tell us about your Style Lab, 'The Den'? 

FM: Because I knew it would look good, mysterious and a little bit sexy. I just wanted to make a space that you could imagine yourself sitting in and having a few drinks.

What do you think creates a successful space?

FM: Don’t over design. Keeping things classic and understated, don’t try to be trendy.

What is your favourite element/principle to design with?

FM: Colour! I live by it.

Tell us about your team, The Studio by Fleur...

FM: We are a family that's always evolving. We are a group of women that have a lot of respect for each other. We have each other's backs. We love traveling and working together and it means that every day is filled with fun and laughter. At the end of the day, we maintain that every job we do is better than the last.

Why do you love your job?

FM: Because I get to create something different and unique every day!
