Creative Cult

The brief

To host an intimate dinner for the luxe stylists of Melbourne.

The primary goal was for the stylists to come together, be inspired by their mentors, share information, discuss the challenges in their fast-paced and ever-changing industry – such as pricing, intellectual property and social media.

We proudly introduced Amanda Henderson, Founder and Creative Director of Gloss Creative, as our guest speaker.

The project

We transformed the showroom into a cool hub beginning with pre-drinks set against a backdrop with moving imagery of a mischievous blinking eye and shadowy branches.  From here we moved to the back of the showroom and set a u-shape table of black marble and charcoal velvet chairs with dove grey linen, black cutlery, and fine crystal.

A delicious dinner was served and Amanda Henderson shared her story. She made us laugh, she inspired us and she shared her tips and getting on and doing well. Amanda reminded us to always work with amazing people, to add value and find our niche.

Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun.

The stylists of Melbourne do this every day.  Creative Cult was an opportunity to share stories and tell tales, an occasion to learn and share from one another, and we can’t wait to do it all again in 2018!
