Medibank International - Sydney

his prestigious tournament held at Sydney's Olympic Park Tennis Centre in Homebush is the premier warm up event for the Australian Open. Nine of the top ten female players in the world competed this year and crowd favourite Leyton Hewitt was among the strong male line up.

FORMULA 1™ Australian Grand Prix

The Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix was first held in Melbourne in 1996, after moving from Adelaide. This event attracts around 300,000 people to the Albert Park circuit in March each year. Four days of track action including V8 Supercars, Formula Ford, Mini Challenge and practice and qualifying sessions culminate in the final race, which in 2010 was won for the second year running by Jenson Button.
