Australian Open Tennis
Melbourne has been the proud home of the Australian Open since 1972. In the early years, it was held at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club, and in 1988 it moved to what is now known as Melbourne Park. As the first Grand Slam tournament of the year, the Australian Open is the pinnacle of Australia's summer of tennis and Harry's is proud to be associated with this prestigious event.

Harry the Hirer supply marquees, furniture and fit out for the tournament. From corporate dining and public bars to the sponsor displays and retail outlets, Harry’s supply a range of equipment and services, including marquees, flooring, furniture, lighting, audio visual, signage, conceptual design, table linen, catering and kitchen equipment.

Ranging in size from the smallest 3m x 3m, to the largest dining marquee - Harry's brand new double decker structure with the premium Absolute structure on the top level, each facility in some way receives a further Harry’s personal touch – conceptual design, furniture and accessories, table linen & centrepieces, general & feature lighting, signage & imagery, audio & visual, kitchen & catering, flooring & floor coverings, through to the most fully customised facility build imaginable.

The Australian Open, held at Melbourne Park, presents a unique set of circumstances during the bump in phase. Harry the Hirer has stringent and detailed OH&S policies surrounding the installation of marquees and equipment. Harry the Hirer work with Tennis Australia and Melbourne Park to schedule and complete works to meet both with the event schedule and to have least impact on the venue.

AAMI Classic - Kooyong
In what is truly one of Australia's finest boutique events, Kooyong has been the preferred Australian Open preparation tournament for 90% of the worlds top ranking male tennis players. This lead up tournament has attracted loyal crowds over the four days of the event, and continues to be Melbourne's intro into a great summer of tennis!
