Superbikes at Phillip Island

Harry the Hirer has a long and proud association with the Phillip Island Circuit. Each year, for one month leading into its commencement, the Harry’s team install and fit out a large number of individual marquees. Ranging in size from the smallest 3m x 3m, to the large teams garage marquees which accommodates up to 60 teams each . For the months leading into commencement on site, a strategic planning process is undertaken in conjunction with the Phillip island circuit, to ensure a smooth and efficient installation. Consideration is not only given to the cohesion of Harry’s 12 internal operating departments, but also to all other event stakeholders which include all superbikes teams for the 2010 season including BMW, Honda, Yamaha and Ducati.
Although at times Phillip Island is the paradise that many families know from their yearly pilgrimage on holidays to the sunny Island , there are times where the elements are not so kind to the Harry the Hirer build team, with driving rain and winds in excess of 120kmh greeting our experienced marquee professionals.
The Phillip Island Circuit were once again very impressed with the professional touch that Harry the Hirer brought to the Superbikes in 2010 and look forward to a close working association moving forward to the many other events at the track including the September issue of Moto GP 2010 and the 2011 round of the World Superbikes.
